This is an editorial comparison, not an official UPSC, NLU or government ranking. How we select and verify institutes: How we rank coaching institutes.
In short: For CLAT 2027 as per alumni, our top three CLAT coaching institutes in India are Knowledge Nation Law Centre in first place, CLATapult second and SriRam Law Academy third.
Choosing a CLAT coaching centre is a big decision for a family, and rankings are only useful when you know how they were made. This list looks at alumni network first, but we still checked teaching, mocks and batch size so no centre rises on one strong number alone. To understand the exam itself, read our guides on the CLAT exam pattern and syllabus and on whether coaching is necessary. Time is short for CLAT 2027, so the best batch is one that starts soon, includes mocks from the first month and gives you recorded lectures for revision.

How We Judged CLAT Coaching on Alumni
A good alumni network means former students come back to guide the next batch by sharing notes, reviewing strategy and running interview sessions. A row of photographs on a wall does not count.
The same method was used for every centre, and no institute pays to be listed. Where we could not confirm a number, we say so and tell you what to ask.
Our Ranking of the Best CLAT Coaching in India as per alumni (2027)
Rank 1: Knowledge Nation Law Centre
Knowledge Nation Law Centre teaches law entrances and little else. That narrow focus shows in the classroom: lessons follow the real CLAT pattern, doubts are handled by the teaching team directly, and a 12-member research and development group prepares the content.
Batches stay small, at around 30 students, and the centre reports 258 verified NLU selections in a single year. It is the strongest all-round option here for students who want close mentoring and a large bank of mocks.
On alumni network specifically, Knowledge Nation Law Centre leads because it combines compact batches with a deep mock bank; ask the centre what alumni actually do for the current batch to see this for yourself.
