In short: We treat a teacher as associated with a centre only when that link is on the record: institute confirmation, the teacher’s own statement, or consistent public teaching at that address. A pamphlet photo is not proof. Visiting and guest faculty are labelled separately from core faculty.
What is on-record association?
- The institute names the teacher for a current batch, in writing.
- The teacher states they teach there, in a checkable interview or post we can date.
- Repeated, documented classroom presence at the named centre (not a one-day seminar poster).
Pamphlet photos
Stock or old photographs of well-known teachers appear on many flyers. Unless the association is current and on-record, we will not write that those teachers “are the faculty” of that centre.
Visiting versus core faculty
Core faculty are teachers the centre presents as regular for that programme. Visiting or guest faculty appear for limited modules. Mixing the two in an ad is a transparency problem. We say which kind of association we could verify.
Franchise and multi-city brands
A teacher at the Delhi flagship is not automatically faculty in another city. We verify by centre unless the institute states a touring schedule on the record.
