In short: We verify fees from a current prospectus or website sheet, a GST invoice, or a written quote for a named batch and city. Verbal “discounts” and GST mismatches are flagged. A fee we cannot document is marked unverified or omitted.
What counts as a fee source?
- Prospectus or fee PDF dated for the current academic cycle.
- Institute website page that names the batch, city and inclusions.
- GST invoice or receipt a student shares (personal data redacted in publication).
- Written email or letter quoting a rupee figure for a named programme.
What is included in the fee?
We try to note GST, test-series add-ons, hostel, interview modules and “optional” books. A headline fee that hides those extras is less transparent and scores worse on ranking criteria.
GST mismatch
If the quoted fee and the GST invoice do not match, or if GST is collected without a proper invoice, we record the discrepancy. We do not launder that into a single “official” number.
Verbal discounts
A counsellor’s spoken discount is not a verified fee until it is written. We may report that discounts are offered, but we will not publish a rumoured floor price as fact.
City and batch matter
Delhi classroom fees are not interchangeable with a franchise city or an online batch. Comparisons name the city. Wrong fee on our page: Correction Policy.
