Is CLAT maths of Class 12 level?
The Consortium describes it as Class 10 quantitative techniques. Do not start Class 12 calculus.
I am weak at maths. Can I still clear CLAT?
Yes if you protect accuracy in other sections and take the QT sets you can finish. Skipping the entire section without practice is how easy marks are lost.
Which book is enough?
NCERT Class 8–10 arithmetic chapters you actually need, plus official papers. A bulky bank-exam quant book is usually overkill.
Should I attempt QT first in the paper?
Only if timed PYQs show that QT is your fastest accurate section. Most candidates should not hide from Legal to finish maths.
